On fiber coupled diode laser machines, the laser lamps are not located inside the handpiece but in the main body of the machine. The heat is concentrated inside the core rather than the hand; cooling systems work more efficiently to disperse that heat, making the lasers more durable (50 Million Pulses, which is 5 times more than standard diodes).
Since the lamps are no longer inside the handpiece, the operator manages a light, low-temperature piece. The sapphire contact cooling tip rarely heats up, providing hours of comfortable treatment for the user and painless sessions for patients. This technology focuses the beam of light (collimated light), ensuring effective treatment in the shortest time possible.
